The stadium has a unique horseshoe shape, with one of its ends being called the “Double T”, a monolithic three level stand composed of 12,000 seated places. It was recently renovated for the 2016 Euro Cup and has several restaurants, tennis courts, a multi-sport hall, an athletics track and a swimming pool. It is located in the Western suburbs of Saint-Etienne, close to the city center. The Stade Geoffroy Guichard is accessible by public transport, and there are several car parks located nearby.
