St Pierre Cathedral

St Pierre Cathedral is a stunning gothic-style Roman Catholic Church located in the centre of Geneva, Switzerland. Originally built in the 12th century and heavily renovated in the 16th century, this two-towered edifice still holds its majestic beauty, standing guard over the city from its elevated location. Inside, four chapels welcome you to admire their beauty and intricacy, such as the Chapel of Our Lady of Burgundy and the Chapel of the Visitation. Other areas of note also include the north transept and choir, blessed by Pope Benedict XV in 1920. Open from 8am - 6.30pm, visitors can admire the history and craftsmanship of this stunning cathedral, dating back to the middle-ages. Guided tours are available during summer, so look out for times and information.
