St. Nicholas Church

St. Nicholas Church in Malá Strana, Czechia, is a prominent Baroque-style church located directly below Prague Castle. It was designed by Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer and built in 1704-1755. Its soaring towers, onion dome, and tiled roofs make it a classic example of Bohemian Baroque. Inside, the church boasts an array of original paintings, marble art and sculptures, as well as a large organ dating as far back as 1751. The Church of St. Nicholas is a popular tourist attraction, but is still an active place of worship and requires a certain level of respect from all visitors.
