Mozarts Geburtshaus

Mozarts Geburtshaus is a museum dedicated to the life and accomplishments of composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in Salzburg, Austria. Located at Getreidegasse 9, the museum was built in the late 18th century and was Mozart’s birthplace. It houses a vast collection of instruments and memorabilia, including manuscripts, early editions, engravings, paintings and sculptures related to this composer. Visitors can view a rare performance in the chamber of Mozart and explore interactive digital exhibits about the life of this iconic composer, as well as enshrine by the cities of Vienna and Salzburg. The museum offers guided tours and workshops, hosts concerts and other events. Visitors can appreciate the vast Baroque architecture and historic buildings outside, such as the Franciscan Church and the old Residenz palace, completing the Mozart experience.
