Matterhorn - Cervino

The Matterhorn - Cervino is an iconic, jaw-dropping Swiss peak that tops out at 4,478 meters, located in Zermatt, Switzerland. Picturesque views, surrounded by snow-capped mountains, the Matterhorn makes an amazing sight. With its iconic peak and distinctive shape, it is truly a sight to behold! Although the Matterhorn is a tough climb, it is also accessible via cable car, providing a more relaxed way to enjoy the view. For those inclined to take the hike, many small Alpine lodges and huts can be found along the path. If you are lucky, you may even spot some ibex or foxes! One of the best ways to take in the Matterhorn is to take a ride on a horse-drawn carriage through Zermatt’s old cobblestoned streets. Visiting the nearby Trift glacier is highly recommended, as it provides stunning views of the Matterhorn.
