Lighthouse

Located in Premantura, Croatia, the Lighthouse is a historical monument considered to be an enduring symbol of the region's rich maritime heritage. Built in 1901, the Lighthouse acts as a signaling post for boats making their way through the Adriatic Sea. It stands 65 feet tall, and its light reaches up to 10 nautical miles. Visiting the lighthouse is free, however, visitors are asked to make a donation in order to help maintain and preserve its structure. The Lighthouse's low elevation provides visitors with the perfect vantage point to take in the stunning views of the Adriatic Sea and the lush countryside of the Istrian peninsula. Surrounding the area are various hiking trails and paths, which make it an ideal spot for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers. To get to the lighthouse, visitors can drive or take public transportation to Premantura. Parking is available near the entrance.
