Jardin Public Garnier

Jardin Public Garnier in Provins, France is a pretty public park situated centrally in Provins. The name is in homage to Monsieur Jean-François Garnier, who was a collector and cataloguer of the local flora. The park has a large variety of species of local plants and trees, and features a number of rocky hills, streams, and paths, surrounded by thick greenery. Be sure to keep an eye out for the numerous species of birds, butterflies and other wildlife found in the park. There’s a central grassy meadow and artificial lakes, with benches for you to take or break for rest or just to enjoy the scenery. The park also features a grand Wisteria arch rising from the path to the highest point in the park. It’s a quiet and serene spot and it’s definitely worth a visit.
