Dubai Museum

Dubai Museum is located in the historic district of Al Fahidi in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was the former palace of Dubai's ruling family and is now dedicated to preserving the cultural heritage of the city. The museum contains historical artifacts, photographs and maps that tell the story of Dubai's past, including its rise from a small fishing settlement to a major city state. There are also interactive galleries, a diorama of a traditional marketplace, and a reconstructed neighborhood with mud and palm-frond dwellings. You can also tour an archaeological and ethnographic gallery, and examine an array of weapons, coins and jewelry which show you the diversity and richness of the region. Visitors can also learn about the Bedouin culture and everyday life in the region. Additionally, the museum houses a library, cafe and souvenir shop.
