Deadvlei

Deadvlei, located in the Sossusvlei area of Namibia, is an incredibly beautiful, desolate landscape. It's a white expanse of land beneath a brilliant blue sky filled with ancient, petrified dead Camel Thorn Acacia Trees. The red sand dunes surrounding it create a unique and stunning contrast. The area includes a lake, which can be dried up, leaving stunning white clay behind. Taking a 4WD to the location is the most popular way to visit, and visitors can experience the vast open landscapes and surreal landscapes, as well as take some spectacular photos. It is one of the best spots in the Namib Desert to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets. Photography enthusiasts will find it hard to resist the give and take of texture, colours and beauty.
