Burg Hohenzollern

Burg Hohenzollern is a castle in the town of Hechingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, located 35 km south of Stuttgart. It is the ancestral seat of the House of Hohenzollern, and is one of the three main castles of the same house, the others being Schloss Sigmaringen and Schloss Monbijou. This castle was built in the 11th century and was added to and reconstructed many times, with the most recent reconstruction in the 19th century. Visitors can explore the castle's battlements, courtyards, surrounding palaces, and numerous towers. Other attractions include a museum with a plethora of artifacts relating to the family's ancestry, a chapel, and a restaurant.
