Aguelmam Aziza

Aguelmam Aziza, located in Ajdir, Morocco, is an isolated natural oasis with an array of wildlife and gorgeous landscapes. The main attraction is a deep cave which streams out water from the hills. The crystal clear water forms a permanent small pool and attracts various species of freshwater fish. The lush vegetation surrounding the pool is made up of 10 species of palm trees, including Phoenix dactylifera, that will provide ample shade and photography opportunities. Birdwatchers will also find certain varieties of birds like Bald Ibis, Two-Barred Warbler, and White Wagtail. The place is well known for its spectacular sunsets, best appreciated while sitting atop the hills.
