Waldfriedhof LP is a beautiful cemetery located in the town of Halle, Germany. Enjoy its peaceful atmosphere while admiring its scenic landscape, with numerous benches, paved walks, and trees providing ample shade. Its 15 hectares area includes a variety of graves, from those of World War II to modern. It boasts lots of architecturalbeauty, from simple upright headstones to imposing tombs in neo-Gothic and neo-Renaissance styles. A cross-shaped gravestone of Hans Bardutzky, a legendary sailor from the 18th century, is also to be found here. One of the highlights of this cemetery is a tall monument dedicated to the fallen soldiers of WWI, which dominates the landscape.
