Mission San Jose Catholic Church is a historic 1768 Spanish mission in San Antonio, United States. Its towering stone wall, spired bell tower, and ornate sanctuary are iconic elements of the Mission Trail of San Antonio, which commemorates the area's past as the birthplace of the modern West. The Mission is renowned for its ornate stonework, especially its elaborately carved arches. Inside, visitors can find considered artwork, handcrafted tile, and frescoes.
