Kofuku-ji Gojunoto, a five-story pagoda located in Nara, Japan, is a stunning sight to behold. Standing almost 50 meters tall, the gojunoto serves as the second tallest pagoda in Japan and is the symbol of the Kofuku-ji Temple, one of the seven great temples of Nara. Built in 1426, the pagoda is a stunning example of architecture from the Muromachi period and is constructed from wood and painted in bright red.
