Cartagena de Indias is the capital of Bolívar Department in Colombia, and it's well known for its beautiful architecture and culture. Catedral de Santa Catalina de Alejandría is a large Catholic Cathedral with a stunning facade located in the historical center of the city. The stunning golden and yellow façade stands out among the other buildings in the city, making it both a popular tourist attraction as well as a great spot for photographers. Inside, visitors will find a large open space with a long aisle and impressive artwork, both sculptures and paintings. Visitors can also explore the Cathedral's many chapels and enjoy its rich history, as it was built from the 16th to the 19th centuries.
