Vieux Mans

Vieux Mans and Rue de la Reine Bérengère are two historical sites located in the heart of Le Mans, France. Vieux Mans is a bustling area within the city limits that features a mix of cobblestoned streets, buildings from the Middle Ages, churches and cathedrals, and many other attractions. The Rue de la Reine Bérengère is an old cobblestoned street, lined with many historic buildings of the late 19th century, leading to a square with a fountain. On its way, the street passes beneath Timotheus Gate, an ancient structure built in the 12th century. These sites provide an insight into the history of the city and are definitely worth checking out for culture lovers. Visitors can also stroll around the banks of the river Sarthe, which splits the city in two and offers many picturesque spots with green parks and riverside terraces.
