Pont de Moret-sur-Loing

The Pont de Moret-sur-Loing is a beautiful landmark of the small village of Moret-Loing-et-Orvanne, in France. It was built in 1881 by the local inhabitants in order to facilitate the transportation of goods between the two adjacent hills. The bridge is made of two level arches, located on the Loing River. It also served to cover the existing bed of crossing. The bridge is decorated in rusticated stone, and the voussoirs supporting the divided arches are of a reddish colour. Attractions of this region feature some beautiful churches like Saint-Médard church, a 19th century Roman Catholic Church. The church is located just a few streets away from the bridge. Additionally, there are various natural landscapes you can explore around the region. Great spots for hiking, cycling and bird watching.
