Playa zumaya

Playa Zumaia is a beautiful beach located in the town of the same name in the Spanish Basque Country. Stretching along 4km and bordered by spectacular high cliffs and rocks, it is a great spot for swimming, sunbathing, cliff-jumping and rock-climbing. It is accessible by car and by regular buses from nearby towns. On the rocky side of the beach there are several restaurants and bars for you to relax and eat. Close to the beach there are hiking routes with amazing views. The beaches here have some of the best surfing conditions in the region. You can find several surf schools in the area and rent beach equipment like umbrellas and deck chairs.
