Oatman

Oatman is an authentic western town located in Mohave County in the state of Arizona, United States. It is located 26 miles south of Bullhead City, Arizona and is located along Historic Route 66. It was founded in 1905 when prospectors established the town to mine for gold, and by 1915 it had a population of over 5,000. Today, it is home to a population of just 45 people and is visited by visitors from all over the world who come to enjoy its unique history and western atmosphere. This town has many features for tourists to explore, including a historic downtown, old hotels and bars, general stores, antique shops, museums, and much more. There is also burro feeding and petting, a popular activity for both locals and visitors alike. The town's dusty main street is dotted with sculptures of old prospectors, boxers, and cowboys, and there are frequent gunfights. Oatman puts on a show for visitors, including gold panning demonstrations, historic reenactments, and gunfights. All of this gives Oatman a distinct and unique atmosphere that cannot be found anywhere else!
