Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek

Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek is a beautiful and unique museum located in the City Center of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was founded in 1888 by Carl Jacobsen, son of the founder of the Carlsberg Breweries. The building itself is an architectural masterpiece, a neoclassical edifice which was built around a winter garden. Inside, the museum houses one of the most important art collections of Denmark, especially in paintings and sculptures from the ancient and classical periods. It also houses a large collection of sculptures by Danish sculptors, such as Aksel Hansen and Wilhelm Nicolai. Other exhibits include a collection of French and Danish impressionists, such as Monet and Kroyer. The museum also offers guided tours, lectures, and workshops. Finally, the museum also has a café and a shop selling souvenirs and books related to art and culture.
