The bridge spans a length of 2498 feet and it is one of the few five-span cantilever truss bridges in the United States. The bridge features two widely spaced, 10-span continuous through trusses, anchored on four concrete piers with the central span being 886 feet long. The bridge has two 11-span deck trusses between and connecting the two main trusses, which are 441 feet long.
