L'Oceanogràfic

L'Oceanogràfic, located in the former bed of the River Turia in València, Spain, is the largest aquarium in Europe. Its 11 million liters of saltwater provide home to a wide variety of sea life from across the world. Sheltering 45,000 animals from 500 different species, visitors can not only observe the sea creatures, but also interact with them. Aside from the plentiful aquatic life, the stunning architecture of L'Oceanogràfic is an attraction in itself. There are 10 interactive exhibitions that explore the marine environment, and provide exciting experiences like meeting dolphins, seeing sharks, or even learning about reptiles. Beyond the amazing creatures and sightseeing, the aquarium offers educational programs, a 4D cinema, an auditorium, and a range of other activities and events.
