La Corbier Lighthouse

La Corbier lighthouse is a historic landmark located on the historic Jersey isle of Jersey, 21 km off the northern coast of France.Built in 1886, the lighthouse was built with the help of Queen Victoria. It stands at 55 meters tall, with seven-meter thick walls and a central cylindrical tower detail.

The lighthouse can be visited year-round, with a guided tour available. The outer wall decks offer stunning views of cliffs and coastline, while the base offers an insight into the workings of the lighthouse. The walls within the lighthouse once featured over a thousand lamps, projecting light to the seas around Jersey. The interiors have now been restored into a museum, featuring exhibits on Jersey's maritime and lighthouse history. Much of the original equipment is displayed, along with artifacts from other lighthouses. A significant collection of photographs and memorabilia exists too.
