Karkonosze Mountains

Karkonosze Mountains offer a spectacular, almost fairy-tale like landscape in south western Poland. The park is easily accessible from Piechowice, and no matter what season you visit you can experience the beauty of nature in its full glory. The mountain range itself is an amazing sight to behold, with lush green forests, towering peaks and deep valleys filled with pristine rivers and waterfalls. You can hike, bike or simply relax in the natural beauty of the park. On clear nights, stargazing is a must. There are a number of popular tourist spots within Karkonosze, such as Snowy White Rocks, the Temple of Silence, the Seven Peaks Trail and Wielka Sowa Peak. There are also breathtaking views of the park from the nearby towns of Jelenia Gora and Szklarska Poreba. While you can visit the park any time of year, winter is a particularly beautiful time to explore.
