Igreja e Torre dos Clérigos

Igreja e Torre dos Clérigos is a stunning Baroque style church located in the middle of Porto, Portugal. Its iconic bell tower, the Torre dos Clérigos, stands an impressive 72 meters high and is one of the most recognizable landmarks of the city. The church was built in 1763 by Nicolau Nasoni, and boasts a unique façade which stands out from the rest of the buildings around it. Inside the church, visitors can find several altars and a Baroque organ. The Torre dos Clérigos is also open to visitors and is the best way to admire the stunning views of the city.

Right next to the church is the lovely Jardim da Cordoaria public park. This tranquil and picturesque garden provides a great retreat from the busy city, and is perfect for a leisurely stroll. In addition to its landscape of lush lawns and tall trees, the Jardim da Cordoaria also features several decorative ponds, sculptures and a fountain. The garden also features a playground and a variety of benches to sit and relax.
