High shoals falls

High Shoals Falls is located about an hour north of Dallas, Texas. It's an easily accessible outdoor escape among lush forests with the perfect waterfall for swimming, hiking, and camping. A short, moderate hike from the car park to top of the falls offers access to several cascades, totaling 36 feet. While swimming is permitted (at own risk due to slippery rocks), some of the best views can be seen from the top of the falls. Don't forget to take a camera for some truly magical photos of the powerful falls surrounded by greenery. There are picnic areas located nearby, giving you the chance to take a break and recharge.
