Herforder Sender

Herforder Sender is an old water tower located in Herford, Germany. Built in 1904 as part of the city's waterworks, it stands tall at 60 meters and continues to operate today. The impressive tower is popular among photographers due to its unique iron and brick construction and its high vantage point. Visitors able to climb to the summit will have an unparalleled view of the city and the surrounding area. Historical buildings, lush green fields, and the mighty Wittekindsberg are a few of the sights to be enjoyed from the top. On a clear day, the surrounding cities of Bielefeld, Gütersloh, and Osnabrück can even be seen.
