Berlin Zoo

Berlin Zoo, located in the heart of Germany’s bustling capital, is one of the oldest and most popular zoos in the world. Berlin Zoo houses over 20,000 animals, most notably the giant pandas, and has 13 themed enclosures, featuring everything from wooded savannahs to Asian temples.

Visitors can admire the diverse species on display, as well as take part in educational activities. There is the Space to Discover, an interactive science exhibition, where children can get up close with the animals; and the Zoo-Insel’s Kids Zone, with an aquarium, petting zoo, and much more. Berlin Zoo also features an 8km-long walking path surrounded by beautiful greenery that you can take to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The zoo offers a variety of food options to suit different tastes. There are also regular events such as concerts and movie nights, as well as animal-themed workshops.
