Vaartsche Rijn Station is a historic railway station situated in Utrecht, Netherlands. The station was completed in 1931 and is now part of the Utrecht Science Park, a prominent city district with business and residential areas. It was built by Dutch architect Henry van de Velde, who was famous for his use of angular shapes in his buildings, and his eye for creating an aesthetic balance between modernity and timelessness. Although the original building has been remodeled, its original façade can still be seen. Inside, the station has a modern design, with high steel beams and vibrant colors, creating a unique atmosphere.  The station is surrounded by two large parks, the Morspark and the Botanische Tuin. The station is served by a number of train lines, both intercity and local. It is a popular destination for commuters who travel daily to the nearby universities, parks, and other areas of Utrecht.
