Tarrant County Court

Tarrant County Court, located in Fort Worth, Texas, covers six counties and is one of the busiest courts in the state. It handles a variety of civil and criminal matters, including district court cases, small claims, probate estates, family law disputes, appeals, and appeals from justice courts. The courthouse offers a wide range of clerk services such as court filings, juror summons, and records searches. It is also home to the North Texas Legal Apprenticeship Program and the Military Legal Assistance Program. Visitors can join guided tours of the courtroom once a week or take self-guided tours. The Tarrant County Courts also include two additional courts: the District Attorney’s Office and the Star-Telegram, the county’s newspaper.
