Starnberger See

Starnberger See, or Lake Starnberg, is a lake in Starnberg, Bayern (Bavaria), Germany. It is one of the five so-called ‘Bavarian Lakes’ – the only natural lake among them. It is located just 15 miles (24 km) south of Munich and covers an area of about 28 square miles (73km2). It is the fifth largest lake in Germany and one of the most popular tourist destinations in Bavaria. Its tranquil and serene atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for a romantic getaway. The lake is surrounded by lush green foliage and snow-capped peaks of the surrounding mountains, creating a stunning panoramic view.
