
St. Mark's church is a historical site in the popular tourist destination of Marske-by-the-Sea in the United Kingdom. It is prominent in the area's historical landscape and is listed on the National Heritage List for England. St. Mark's Church is a Grade II listed building built in 1838 of stone, with a bell turret and memorial tablet to honor those who gave their lives at sea during the first world war. Inside the church, visitors can view its beautiful stained glass windows, high roof and ornate wood carvings. Visitors can also find two ancient yew trees planted in the church's cemetery. The church has a permanent exhibition about the history of Marske-by-Sea and regularly hosts guided tours and services. Admission is free.
