Santuario di Santa Maria della Vita is a beautiful church located in the center of Bologna, Italy. It's the final resting place for many of the locals and the city's most beloved families. The church is renowned for its grand white domes and ornate facades, but the interior is just as special. Inside, elaborate art and detailed frescoes cover the walls of the chapel and the high altar, including work by local Renaissance artist Ludovico Carracci. The tomb of Pope Gregory XIII is prominently located in the central nave.
