The Samuel Beckett Bridge is a beautiful cable-stayed bridge located in Dublin Docklands, Ireland. Built in 2009, the bridge is named after Nobel Prize-winning Irish writer, Samuel Beckett. The bridge spans the River Liffey, connecting North and South Dublin in a stunning yet functional piece of architecture. Its most distinguishing feature is its two curved silver-coloured bowstring arches, which can be admired from afar. At night, the bridge is lit up in changing colours, making it very pleasing to look at. Close up, it provides a great spot for photos. There is also a viewing platform at the top of the arch from which to take in the stunning views of Dublin.
