Saltwick Bay

Saltwick Bay, located in North Yorkshire, near Whitby, is an iconic spot for marine wildlife and stunning coastal scenery. It is a rugged, sandy beach and home to impressive chalk cliffs, including the 247 foot high, sheer Cliff Nab. During low tide, you can explore the geo-rich rock pools and fossiliferous black shales along the shoreline. A favourite amongst underwater photographers, there are a huge range of shipwrecks at the bay, making it a popular spot for divers.
