Pyramide du Louvre

The Pyramide du Louvre is a large glass and metal pyramid, located in the courtyard of the Louvre Museum in Paris, France. Constructed in 1989, it stands 22 meters in height, and is surrounded by three smaller pyramids. Inside the pyramid is a lobby which connects the ground floor of the museum with their exhibition rooms and galleries upstairs. The structure has become a symbol for the city of Paris, and tourists are often seen taking pictures in front of and inside the pyramid. It is one of the more iconic landmarks and an important symbol of French culture that should not be missed.
