Putra Bridge

Putra Bridge, also known as the Seri Wawasan Bridge, is one of the most significant footbridges in Putrajaya, Malaysia. This bridge was designed by the renowned architect Zaha Hadid, with the classic reflection of Malaysian modern architecture, making the design look peaceful and elegant.

The bridge spans 530-metres in length, crossing the Putrajaya Lake, connecting Precinct 2 to Precinct 6. It is a complex curved structure with a stunning arcing shape of ribbed concrete topped by steel and glass handrails. From certain strategic points, one can snap a good photograph of this bridge’s curves and also the view of Cybersouth in the backdrop with shimmering sky. The bridge is illuminated in the evening with colourful LED lights and is most often used by pedestrians and cyclists. There are several lookout spots along the bridge for visitors to admire the beauty of the Putrajaya Lake. The Putra Bridge is often a venue for celebratory events in Putrajaya, and remains one of the main attractions of this city.
