The Puente Romano de Córdoba (Roman Bridge in Córdoba), located in Córdoba, Spain, is an iconic 1300 year old bridge over the River Guadalquivir. It once served as an important part of the Moorish city walls, and linked the two sides of the city. It is the longest of all Roman bridges still standing in Spain, and comprises 16 arches. Walking across the bridge today is a magical experience, with plenty of great views of the river and the city, as well as interesting historical markers. Take a stroll on this ancient bridge to find hidden treasures, like the Puerta del Puente (Gate of the Bridge) and the Torre del Puente (Tower of the Bridge). Make sure to bring your camera, as the bridge offers views of some of Córdoba’s most charming landmarks, like the Mezquita, the Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos and the historic Old Town. It's a must for the true traveler and photographer!
