Ponte di Fondo Traversella is an ancient Roman bridge, located in Traversella, in the Province of Vercelli, Piemonte, Italy. The bridge was originally built in the 5th century and renovated in the 14th century. Today it serves as a pedestrian bridge, connecting the two sides of the Chiusella River. The bridge itself is a beautiful sight, with a single five-arched span, built from local stone. The bridge is surrounded by stunning, rugged terrain, with fantastic views of the alpine mountain range. The bridge is the perfect spot for a walk or a picnic, or for admiring the breathtaking views of the Italian Alps. There is also a small chapel located next to the bridge. It's a popular spot for visitors to explore and photograph, and there is even a small museum dedicated to the history of Traversella.
