Phare de la jetée de Deauville - Red is a landmark light house built in the mid-19th century in Deauville, a trendy beach resort of France’s Normandy coast. Part of the casino pier that juts out into the sea, the lighthouse’s striking red and white vertical stripes make it an iconic fixture of the Deauville coastline. On warm summer days, the pier also plays host to a regular market with an array of trinkets and local goods, as well as a variety of restaurants and snack stalls. The lighthouse also offers an ideal spot for sweeping views of the sun setting into the sea.
