Peel

The Peel and Corrins Tower is a historic watch-tower located in Isle of Man, in the small island of the same name. It was built back in the 13th century as one of two fortified gatehouses for the main entrance of the ancient city. Today, it is a popular tourist attraction, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside, including the nearby Peel Cathedral. Visitors are able to explore the large open courtyard and admire its ramparts, domed roof and arrow loops. Inside, they can find interactive displays providing information about the tower's history, as well as archival footage.
