Palazzo di Montalbano

Palazzo di Montalbano is an Italian renaissance building in the small town of Cison di Valmarino, located in northern Italy. The building was built in the 15th century and features a characteristic large, red brick façade with a round tower in the middle, along with a rough stone staircase leading up to the main door. Inside the building are impressive frescoes and stucco decorations, as well as a collection of valuable paintings. The ground floor contains a large hall, which was probably used for receptions during the time when the castle was inhabited by its owners. Today, the building is owned by the town of Cison and is open to the public. Visitors can explore its wonderful interiors, while admiring the innovative techniques used by the builders of the palace.
