Museo Civico Alpino Arnaldo Tazzetti

Museo Civico Alpino Arnaldo Tazzetti is located in Usseglio, Italy, in the Municipality of Valchiusella, about 70 km North of Turin. The museum is dedicated to the study and conservation of elements related to the past culture and traditions of the mountain population. The permanent exhibition consists of more than 1600 artifacts, mostly agricultural tools and tools used by the mountain population of Valchiusella. Visitors can also learn about the history of local cheesemaking, watch videos of traditional crafts and taste local delicacies. The museum also organizes guided tours, lectures and educational activities for children, as well as archaeological excavations and other special events.
