Memorial Bridge

Memorial Bridge is a scenic spot in Portsmouth, United States. The bridge links New Hampshire and Maine, making it one of the few views of the Piscataqua River and its surroundings. The bridge was built in 1923, and it is an interesting example of a riveted Warren truss, as well as the longest pin-connected truss span of its type in the world. Along with its interesting history, the bridge offers great views of the river, Portsmouth and surrounding areas, and the sunrise and sunset in the area is quite spectacular. The bridge also provides a nice back drop for kayaking and fishing, and is part of the wildlife refuge area.
