Louis Vuitton Foundation

The Louis Vuitton Foundation is a cultural and artistic complex located in western Paris, in the Jardin d’Acclimatation. The Foundation opened its doors in October 2014, and was designed by dutch architect and Pritzker Prize winner, Frank Gehry. Its 12 galleries comprise show-rooms for artworks and a selection of classics from the Fondation Louis Vuitton’s permanent collection. They also host exhibitions from internationally renowned visual artists, musicians, and dancers. Additionally, the Foundation offers guided tours and interactive media experiences. Its iconic façade has been compared to a ship at sea, and the building has been named one of the city’s most beautiful modern structures. The Foundation is open daily, except on Tuesdays, and admission is free for children under the age of 18 and EU citizens aged 25 and under.
