Judd Falls is an incredibly scenic waterfall in Mount Crested Butte. It is a 3-tiered cascade that drops 200 feet in two thirds of a mile, making it a beautiful destination for hikers and photographers. A popular trail (Eastside Trail) leads from the meadowland at the base of Mt. Crested Butte to Judd Falls, usually taking just an hour to reach the rich-forested location of the falls. There is also a hidden cliff facing Mount Crested Butte Peak in the background, making it an ideal location for photographers. Make sure to also enjoy this wild and beautiful place, listening to the rushing water and birds chirping.
