Haus Horst

Haus Horst is a castle in Mönchengladbach, Germany built to pay homage to the industrialist Hugo Horst. It was constructed in the early 1900s and is considered to be the largest private villa in Germany. The large villa houses numerous collections of art, furniture, and antiques from the 19th and 20th centuries. It has a formal garden, complete with sculptures and a small lake, and a romantic park with old trees and a variety of flowers. In addition, Haus Horst also features an open-air theater with concerts and performances throughout the year. Visitors can explore the estate, which still has parts of the original furnishings, taking a historical tour of the grand villa.
