
The Genesee Arch Bridge in Portageville, United States, is a historic and beautiful single span arch bridge that crosses the Genesee River. Built in 1874, it is a wonderful example of late 19th century bridge technology, and continues to be used to this day. The bridge can be crossed by car, or by taking a walk. The views of the Genesee River are breathtaking, and you can take stunning photos of the waterfalls, the rapids and the surrounding scenery from the bridge. Off the bridge, visitors can take part in swimming, canoeing and fishing in the waters of the Genesee River.
