Embankment Station

Embankment Station is a London Underground station in Greater London, United Kingdom. It is located on the Northern Line and the Circle and District Lines, and is in Zone 1. This station was opened in 1870 and was the original northern terminus of the Metropolitan Railway which became the first part of the London Underground network. It is conveniently located at the foot of the Victoria Embankment, close to many famous attractions such as the London Eye, the Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. Embankment station also offers access to the National Rail, with services to London Waterloo, West Midlands and Surrey, so it's an excellent access point for tourists and Londoners alike.
