Elephants Back Peak

Elephants Back Peak is a stunning mountain peak located in the Sierra Nevada range near the small town of Markleeville, United States. The mountain, which has an elevation of 9,413 ft, is a popular destination for hikers and campers, especially those looking to explore the open meadows, wildflowers, and awe-inspiring views of the surrounding area. The peak itself is known for its distinctive spire shape, which many say resembles an elephant’s back, hence the name of the mountain.
